Romsley villagers will all be connected via the web thanks to newcomer Stan Francis.

When Stan moved to the village he decided to contribute to the community by launching his own web site posting information.

He also hopes anyone logging on will use it to discuss news and views from the village, find out more about what's going on and share information.

He said: "I have formed the Romsley web site independently with local parishioners to revive and keep the community spirit.

"During the foot and mouth outbreak, for example, villagers would have found a website a good source of information for communities."
