The keeper at Dudley Castle is going back to school - and has discovered the curriculum has changed somewhat since he last went.
Adrian Durkin is spending five days at Hillcrest Community School, Netherton, in the next month as part of a programme to improve education services at Dudley Zoo and Castle.
During the class time he will be studying the latest educational thinking as well as teaching 19th and 20th century history to Black Country pupils.
Adrian said: "It's been a long time since I did any real teaching in a school and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
"The improvement of on-site educational provisions will be one of the areas of development."
Mr Durkin will work closely with Hillcrest teacher, Damien Kearns, who will visit the castle to help develop teaching resources at the medieval site.
